Hi All,
I started modelling in O gauge finescale in the early eighties, and then converted to S7 a few years
later. Having only one loco and a few wagons it was no great problem. I then ploughed my solo furrow
with work and life getting in the way until in the mid 2000`s I had a letter from Peter Hunt saying he was setting up an East Anglian group of the S7 society. My modelling outlook then changed, here was a large layout I could get involved in building, a shop for getting all your O gauge bits and bobs ,but above all a great bunch of blokes, some of them excellent modellers, others bodgers like myself, but all full of encouragement and help.
As to my own modelling, I`m firmly rooted in 50`s East Anglian steam, though not averse to those new green and blue jobs.
Regards Peter.
