The first picture shows the side where I used UHU to attach the styrene sheet. Unlike last time I used a thicker grade and the result looks promising. The second pic shows where I used butanol and this gave a flatter, smoother look. Both side will need all the gaps filling then priming and rubbing.I'm thinking of using some brass L section and fixing it to the top of the sides then glueing the roof in place permanently. The L section should help to tidy up the tops of the sides and give a good impression of the guttering but more importantly gives me a better anchor to fix the roof with. I'm also thinking of putting two pretty thick formers inside going across the width of the coach to hold everything together. Then it's time for it's first witness coat of primer. Don't hold your breath though ;)

I had a look at this mag yesterday in WHSmiths. It has a few pages on the weed killing trains.
