Thank you Giles, that is most generous of you.
The G3 version will have to wait a while as it doesn't quite fit the Mars 2 pro...

Giles,
That is most kind of you.
If you could chop it into 3 bits please that would save me having to relearn what little Designspark that had actually sunk into the grey matter and has long since been forgotten.....

Hi Rob, I've added three files. A centre section and a front and rear buffet beam

To All..... please note, a chamfer should be filed to the underside of all four horns as per photos. I afraid I ran up against the limitations of Designspark when I tried to add that particular compound feature

After the Uckfield show, I have succumbed to the thought of a third and final loco for Nettlebed Lime - that being a Decauville Type 1. A loco that never made it to these shores except in model type as the first available 009 loco - the rather over-size, green 'Steatite' from Jouef.

Finding accurate drawings has been hard but I did find one, and with photos to reference to, this shouldn't be too far off.... and rust should cover the rest!

The boiler is a print, but the rest is conventional in 16mm.

Cranks fitted. These are printed, drilled in a jig plate to ensure they are all identical, pressed on with a smear of Epoxy, and rotated to 90 degrees of each other with simple jig plates to guarantee quartering (as per an article I did in NG&IRM. Crank pins are 2mm studding into tapped holes with the end riveted and a dab of Epoxy. The Tattoo also has printed cranks, as has the 7mm Tattoo, so I'm not overly worried!

Giles,

returning briefly to your 7mm road vehicles, you used a Deltang receiver, which is no longer available. Did you find an alternative suitable for small road vehicles, so 1s/3.7v lipo, single channel servo and esc?

Merry Christmas!
Simon

Yes indeed Simon. Micron do their 601, which although larger, is an excellent receiver - much more sophisticated than the Deltang, with on-board servo-slow, servo reverse, variable acceleration etc.... enabling the use of simpler transmitters if required. Highly recommended...... a bit of a squeeze for 4mm vehicles, but excellent for 7mm.
Andy from Micron is also working on other developments....

And a very Merry Christmas to you!
Giles
