I returned to model railways on retirement a couple of years ago after some 30 years. How it's all changed! I've built a small 00 DCC layout at home and joined a local club. That introduced me to 0 gauge and I think that's the way I'll go, although whether I'll ever enough room for my own layout in that scale I don't know. I made some buildings for the club and just done a couple of plastic wagon kits. I love the size and bulk of the bigger scale. Brass or white metal wagon kits next and then a loco or two, but I need to brush up my soldering skills.

Hello Dave and welcome to the best place to be on the net :) .

WT is all about photos and helping each other so please remember to post with pictures. After re-reading your first post... the general wisdom is to start with wagons and seems that you have done just that so you have some subject material.

regards, Graham

Welcome in, Dave

When I started on WT I mentioned something about 'not enough room for a layout', and was pointed at an '0'-gauge layout in an A4 box folder ...
