Hello all, my name's Gene and I live in Kent.
Main interests are BR Western and Southern region, '70's and '80's.
I grew up deep in the heart of 3rd rail suburbia and remember well the Acton to Norwood goods
which went right past my school every day. Western hauled much of the time...happy days.
7mm is my scale of choice at present. I have a small collection of wagons and vans which I've built
mainly to get my eye in again before I tackle my JLTRT Class 52.

To be honest I've had it 3 or 4 years now and I'm a bit nervous of messing it up, so I'll be
hopefully picking some brains on here, and getting some pointers.

Anyway, I've waffled on enough, see you all out in the forum.

Welcome Gene, you have picked the right place to get all the advice and help you might need.
Just remember to post plenty of pictures, and you will get along just fine. Oh and if you like Blue
it will be even better.

Have fun.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Yes, the truck in my avatar is mine. It's the main reason I can't afford as many trains as I would like.....:)

I was a Chevy man Gene(still am at heart), this was my petrol heads delight, unfortunately long gone now:(.
