When I started to use styrene, I did get build up on the tool, but with experimentation I found a new cutter to be half the answer.

A carbide cutter works very well with styrene - it doesn't seem to generate any heat sufficient to melt the styrene.

The brake third 4-wheel coach is complete, the chassis are made from sheet brass the sole bars are folded to form a channel, the axle boxes and springs are made from ali. The wheels are from Slaters and the transfers are a Walsall product.

Hi Mike, if you were not going to fit steam heating then maybe you could have chosen a different running number.

957 had steam htg from new.

Nice finish with all the fittings though

I thought 1st 2nd composite coach would compliment the brake third, which was completed recently, and the two coaches together
