No Simond. The Milk Van is Blacksmith and the Siphon is Scorpio.

Thanks Simond, the milk van still needs the very obvious rain water gutter fixing to the joint between the roof and side but there was nothing in the box to replicate it so, with nothing in stock to fabricate it, I have ordered some C section milled brass channel.

    Hi Sandy

When I build my Blacksmith toplights, I used milled L shape, and followed David Jenkinson's advice re profile moulded/ milled wooden roof sections from a chap in North Wales. The L shape came from Barry at Metalsmiths, IIRC, it's a while ago!

I covered the wooden section with cartidge paper to give a textured look to it. Can take a snap if it would help

There's a story there. I spent so much time filling and sanding the bare wood roofs while attempting ot hide the grain on Davids first coaches with these roofs that I suggested he glue paper to them in future to save me a bucket load of trouble. I said it might even look like canvass when painted!
