Heljan Class 42 Warship (7mm scale)

Due for release in 2015 (according to the Railway Modeller) and subject to firm expressions of interest via Tower Models, I'm giving serious thought to sticking my name on the list.

If they go ahead, the models will be supplied un-named & un-numbered. My livery choice would be blue with full yellow ends and she'll be finished as 829 "Magpie" (the only Warship I can say with certainty that I ever saw!).

Is anyone else here tempted?

Yes i might be tempted. Mine too would be blue full yellow ends as D853 Thruster. Its the only pic ive come accross of a blue Warship at Penzance in the early 70's. ( 1971 to be precise )

I might be tempted with a couple BLUE obviously, we always need a spare washing machine just in case one breaks down

Think we will put our name down for one. Heljan locos are very good value when you consider how much various kits are then you have to paint and number etc. Weathered up and fitted with a sound card they make tremendous models. Looking forward to seeing how good the Class 52 is, and due quite soon so we are led to believe. Mine is on order from Tower......

I've just come off the phone from Tower Models and am now officially on the list!

I was told there had been a lot of interest shown in the Warship and that it is almost certain to go ahead. I'd better get some overtime in....!
