Hello and to those who know me I'm back and now a S7 modeller

Hello all,
After a long couple of years away from railway modelling I'm back....
Some of you may remember me from MIGO days on the old MIGO site.
I'm now back and modelling Kettles again but in S7 a moment of madness urged me to give it a go...
So here I am looking for inspiration again my long term aim is to build a layout running full length trains I'm torn between good old GWR 1939-1947 or 1950s BR. As there are many GWR loco kits around that have the S7 opption all ready included its looking like that's the way I'm going to go.....
Its good to see a few familiar names still around......

Best regards to you all and happy modelling

Welcome to Western Thunder Mark.

As a S7 modeller myself (BR Western Region 1960 -1975), I look forward to seeing what's on your workbench. If it's BR rather than GWR, so much the better - Mk1s, 16 tonners etc....!

Thank you everyone for the welcome..
It's early days at the mo I'm keeping my options open on the date I have a few GWR loco kits stashed away along with a selection of MMP kits that I packed away for a rainy day or two so I'm off to a head start whichever date I eventually choose. It will be a slow process though times precious at the moment but fingers crossed I will get some pictures and words on here soon.

Not sure we ever passed comments, but welcome back and congratulations on taking the plunge.. My name on here should describe my leanings, and there is a super-s7-layout not far off running, not a million miles from you which should provide plenty of inspiration to get some stock built... Keep an eye out!

JB.
