I have been railway modelling since I was 15 along time ago ( I can remember watching a real G.W.R. express thundering through Swindon & scaring me to death.) Wiltshire born & bred 12 miles from Swindon in Marlborough. Can remember seeing City of Turo at Marlborough low level. My interest is O gauge fine scale, in my Garage & garden is my Chalk Valley Line layout. A model of a preserved line, with DCC sound, steam & Diesels. If any body is interested you can see it on U-tube just type in O GAUGE MODELLER or THE CHALK VALLEY LINE. Better give you all a rest for now. Dave.

You'll be needing one or 4 of these:

I'm sure you'll be able to think of suitable registration numbers for them all!

Thank you Dan Steve & Tony for your comments. Tony(& Lindy Lou) I am a member of the Military Vehicle Club, whose members own and run ex military vehicles, and on my Chalk.V.L. there is a 40`s week end in progress, with WWII vehicles & bods in uniforms scattered around the main station area, just as you can see on any preseved lines 40`s w/end. I used to own a GMC CCW short wheel base recovery, just like the one`s you refer to from Atlas, but I am getting to long in the tooth now for large trucks. I have gone in for comfort now, I have a 1941 US Army Staff Car, and yes I have one on the layout.
