Hi. Just joined.

Recently joined, so I thought I'd say hello in the new members area. I've done a lot of modelling on and off from 2mm, 4mm P4, and recently taken an interest in S7, which is the reason for joining Western Thunder. I also contribute to RMWeb from time to time.

So far in S7 there's a test track that started out as 1.5m of straight track just to run things along, but has since turned into a full on scenic exercise with retaining walls, ballast, grass and various shrubby overgrowth. The first piece of S7 rolling stock is a MMP diagram 1/108, not quite finished but looking the part already. And the 'jump in at the deep end' introductory locomotive project in S7 will be the MOK 8F. I've already spotted one MOK 8F thread to follow.

I seem to remember somebody saying that Western thunder liked lots of photos - so here's a photo of the unfinished 1/108, a bit arty...MMP 1-108 1.jpgBlimey...those rail keys need painting. And the brake blocks need toning down a bit.

I do like the split pin through the brake shaft, great attention to detail , oh and welcome Ian to WT .

When I saw the picture I really hoped that you were going to turn out to be a gauge 3 modeller..

As you can probably tell, I'm another of the S7 people on here.
