The loco is now painted, lined and numbered, almost ready for weathering. This work and the photo are all the work of David Clarke.

The loco is now back home, having been collected at Scalefour Crewe on Saturday. It has been painted, lined and weathered by my friend David Clarke, based on a photo of a sister loco taken at Lees Shed, Oldham, in the mid 1950s.

Jobs still to do include the large diameter buffer heads, cab glazing, inserting the cab inside detail and adding some real coal to the moulded version in the bunker.
