A little more progress this afternoon. The length of Peco SL 100 track has now been glued in place.
If you are wondering what the square bits are it's decorators tape as i like to use it to cover the screw heads. These will of course be hidden with the embankment at the back of the layout and cobbles and foliage at the front of the layout.

Morning the last couple of days I have concentrated my work building up the embankment area to the back of my layout. I always use my go to modelling material which is cardboard. This i do by cutting shaped layers and glueing them to build up the shape I want. Once this is dried I will be adding strips of kitchen roll which is then brushed over with a good helping of PVA glue. Two or three layers will be enough as this set very hard over 24 hours. Once dried some earth colour paint will then be added.
