Making some changes to the buildings for Westbourne Bridge, the client wants a more GW theme so the brown and cream is being replaced with Railmatch light and dark stone. Being acrylic paint it takes a few coats and then will be weathered back in.

Cant post videos but here we see Lightning under DCC test, first time I’ve heard the sound for 5 years.
I’ll make up the fiddle yard board in the spring, The steps will be the next piece added

Lots of pictures today at Westbourne Bridge, final positioning of the buildings before the track work is completed. Rob had some stock tucked away for a few years so we posed a few bits here and there to get a feel of the layout once completed.

Non working lamps on the shed, A scenic break based around a pipe run, the lower brick wall in place and the corrugated ready to be mounted once the paint arrives and the signal mounted

I really like the fact that you spend a great deal of time getting the track to be laid properly before you hide a lot of that work. It adds a fidelity that is nice to see.

Nearly completed the GW shed project, I need to tone down the side and rear of the engine shed tomorrow.

I am a bit late at the party. I love the greasy, oily sludge. It would be every environmental activists nightmare. Only one thing to consider: would there be actually any green growing below the bunker? There is no rain, the only water would be from leaks in the water tank.

You're certainly getting the grot levels right, modern heritage sheds are very similar, at least within the constraints imposed by location and elf n safety.
