It would be interesting to see any statistics of covid infections from the people who attended the Kettering show as this would maybe be an indicator for future shows being planned this year. Apart from sports venues which seem to be mainly out in the open mass gatherings at exhibitions, which are only just opening up again, are in air conditioned hot houses !.
Reports of covid outbreaks have disapeared know on the news channels thanks to the Great Dicktator, Adolph Putin.

Recent reports in the papers suggest the England covid figure is rising again, which seems inevitable given the reduction in restrictions.

There seem to be fewer reports of cheese & wine parties too, I'm sure that's welcome in some households.

Sadly mask wearing is the biggest con going, it does not protect the wearer one bit, all the air you breathe goes through the mask and takes the virus with it. Chris Whitty himself admitted that this on one of the prime ministers press conferences about 18 months ago.
Wearing a mask can help reduce the spread if you happen to have covid (and don't know it) so for example if you are on a crowded tube train then you would only infect those around you without a mask you could infect the whole carriage !

There was a scientific study carried out last September comparing cases in schools some of which wore asks all the time and other schools which didn't wear masks at any time. The results were not widely publicised because the only conclusion the scientists could reach was that mask wearing made no difference to the infection rates, the mask wearing kids were infected as often as those that didn't wear a mask.

If wearing a mask makes you feel better then please do, but it won't stop you catching it, and we are all going to catch it over the next few years.
