A couple of pics of a dry run. Things have definately moved on in the etching World since this kit was made, but its seems ok. I like to do a dry run with locos in particular as they certainly arent my forte. Hopefully it Will go together ok
And I thought it was a 'Super D' learn all the time.
A real workman like loco with just what is necessary. I will settle for a coal tank to work the interchange to my Colonel Stephens type light railway.
A bit more work on the G the smoke box has been made up and the cab roof fitted. The side cheeks for the cab have been Just tacked on for the moment. I am tempeted to do one of the first D class later on, they had Webb tenders.
I have been having another look at the G the springs and couplingrods have been fitted and it Actually rolls along with no tight spots. I Just hope it does the same with the motor fitted. I have a portascap motor and gearbox for it
