Following on from Simon C's MW build and the resulting shorter version of the cab roof in relation to the bunker. My Mk.4 Manning , the cabless one , has been residing in the drawer for a while now and seeing Simon's version has prompted me into putting a similar version cab on mine. Have done it by removing the original bunker and building a new one from leftover etches and bolting this, with two M2 bolts, to the footplate thus making it a removable unit. The cab roof is then made up and soldered to the bunker partition and the front end just rests on the firebox top and is not fixed, the whole unit lifting off for detailing, painting and access to the backhead . Will have to do a bit of tidying up on the paintwork methinks........
