Thank you so much for finding that, Geoff. I saw Bogsworth Junction at Blackburn many years ago, but knew nothing about the rest of the extensive extra part.
I believe the Sturrock loco was pictured in MRJ some years ago, and that was the last time I saw anything of Mike's work in the model press. I would credit him with stirring my own, slightly later period interest in Victorian railways, for which I am very grateful.
He is a true pioneer and educator in the modelling and history of an otherwise utterly neglected ( by modellers) period of our railway history.

I haven't seen that video for a while! I remember seeing it in the flesh a couple of times, most recently at RailWells, but that was probably 20 years ago! One bit of trivia is that, in more recent years, dad and I became acquainted with Peter Bedding who was, among other things, responsible for Sharman during his RAF national service and turned a blind eye to RAF kit being used for model-making...
