Moss Lane (7mm Diorama)

Moss Lane is not a layout as such, but somewhere to test and run my locomotives on a diorama type of layout and l have gone for building the track using 124 peco rail with peco chairs, l dont have a plan as such as l will see where we go ?

Still enjoying the track making and giving my newest loco a test drive...on DC, making sure l have disabled the DCC control first ?

Hello Craig, All keeping fine thank you, the actual layout/diorama is ten foot x two foot and the sector plate clips on both ends

Well finally finished the trackwork on 'Moss Lane' (Please ignore the piece of Peco track) one cassette will sit inside the cupboard, and the other end will hang over the end, l will only need one cassette as only one movement at a time, there will be three bridges over the diorama, one in the middle and one at each end hiding the fiddle yards, that's the theory anyhow... Sorry forgot the track to the bay platform...

Well l got the track all wired up today and everything seems to run ok, the station needs the tops fitted next...

The first 'loco' only cassette all done 20" long...

Started some more work on the station platforms, and tried out the short cassette...

Bought some two aspect signals for ML all brass construction, and they are very nice...

Now at the point when l have to choose the ballast, the one l am using this time is for meant for OO and it seems to fit the bill nicely ? also all the point rodding push / pull bits are complete now thanks to a helping hand from lan Hallworth.

The main bit of interest to me is fitting all the paraphernalia along the trackside, its amazing how many cabinets / wires / cables there are when you look...

Getting on with the ballasting at the moment, also changed the bay platform to accommodate a parcels coach without a curve...
