Put the new samples on one of my L.N.W.R wagons that have been awaiting the new printed parts.
These are only samples that I have printed in black but the small production run will be in red resin.
I had better explain that the axleboxes have a slot in the back to go with my own w-irons that I had made years ago. I am not sure if it is what people want. I don't have any of the etch w-irons left but if people want them I could have another batch made.
View attachment 84914View attachment 84916View attachment 84914 I have been preparing a set of wheels for another wagon. As they come they were a bit rusty and with a bit of flash on the back from the mould. I have trimmed the rim back a little and run a scalpel blade down the spokes before cleaning the rust with wet and dry. I then used Birchwood Super Blue let down with 50% water to blacken them.
Although they are better than they came it would be nice to have some like Richard Davidson's on his wagons but my skills do not run to that level. You can see the amount of bits removed from one pair of wheels.
Having posted the last 2 items I am struggling with editing. Twice the same photos have appeared in duplicate and when I try to delete one the wrong photo is removed leaving the post a bit odd.
