You might just hit a soft spot there as long as it is north of Inverness 76-77 as I have very fond memories of childhood holidays and catching glimpses of trains at Plockton as well as the sleeper at Inverness. Or am I just going soft? 

This thread is going pretty well, Victorian 517's in London to Kyle of Lochalsh in the 70s via the ER and somewhere wet in the Northwest
