Gresford was well worth the visit. It's a good little show (I hope Derek felt it was worth his efforts organising it).

Lots of interesting people to talk to. John Fitness (signals), Bryan Jones (JLTRT) and Richard Hersey (AGH wheel turner/finisher) all made contact, so well worth my time going. I also managed to get the smokebox, boiler and firebox done on the Fowler 2-6-2 so some productive work done as well.

I took the Aspinall A and Crab along and a lot of visitors had memories of those locos so interest all round.

nice to meet up with Richard and Tony again and also had a very enjoyable day on the Bring & Buy - some interesting lots and some equally happy punters went away with their 'bargains' looking forward to next year event - Sunday 8th July - same place, same time.
