Pagoda

Evening all,

I am looking for information and drawings of the GWR Pagoda shelter. I have seen the drawing in 'Great Western Railway Halts' from Irwell Press and 'A Pictorial record of GWR architecture' by Adrian Vaughan, but it is the same drawing in both (albeit reproduced to a higher quality in the latter) of what claims to be an 'A-type' Pagoda. One characteristic feature of this is a gap of just 12" between the top of the door to the edge of the roof, and the drawing shows it having inward opening doors. However the vast majority of Pagodas photographed have a larger gap here between door and roof and different doors/window arrangements. My question is, does anyone know of any other drawings out there?

My last resort (which would be a good day out, so not the end of the world) would be to visit Didcot with a tape measure and notepad (Covid-19 permitting) and do a survey of their more typical example. In which case, is anyone here a volunteer at Didcot who I could arrange this with?

But any other help much appreciated.

Thanks!
