Queen and M7

Here's a few photos of a couple of otherlocos I have finished in the last few months. The Queen is from a Scorpio kit and the M7 from a Laurie Griffin kit. Painting by Warren Haywood and photos by Mick Davies.

The 2-2-2 is a truly delightful model, and top-notch in every way, but I gotta admit I pressed the "like" for the weathered M7, which I can identify with.

Jeez, Nick, that M7 must have taken a lot of work. It's a fantastic build, but the faults in the kit (especially around the ashpan and rear bogie) unfortunately remain. As you know, there are easier ways... ;)

I'm with Larry.
The Queen looks to be beautifully modelled and painted, but it doesn't do a thing for me.
The M7, on the other hand, despite any inaccuracies/errors alluded to by Steph, absolutely looks the part to me even though I'm not that interested in the prototype.
Lovely modelling Nick, as always.
Dave.
