Hello All

I have just joined this forum and am working on my first layout. It is an OO gauge 5 foot by 15 inch 'plank' ingelnook type layout with a South Wales/GWR theme. Having just layed the track I am starting to work on the buildings.

The layout is being run on DC but has been wired to allow for DCC if funds ever permit.

Hello All

Hi there "cup o char", and welcome.

Yes, pictures would be good, and a name too as we're all on first name terms here! You'll probably be glad you've dropped the DCC option in....  I know I was when we pushed to get DCC on our two club layouts  ;D

Cheers,

Ian.

I see that you put your plank will have a South Wales/GWR theme but are you going for any specific time period at all Jon?

One of my all-time favourite Film Comedy scenes is the "British Dinner Party Under Fire" scene in Carry On Up The Khyber... ;)

Along with the heroic defense of the Khyber Pass when they let rip with the machine gun  :))
"That's no job for an Officer, Sir!"

"But it means certain death!"

"That's why it's no job for an Officer!"

All classic stuff........ :D

Did nobody say "welcome to the madhouse" this time..? Looks like they should of..... :))
