The opening post from Bricktrix rings familiar bells... he has described the scenario which we encountered when starting down the road of two motors in a JLTRT Cl.37 with one Loksound V4 and one Lokpilot V4.
Since I started this topic - and with the advice and help from Steph and Martin - we have changed to one Loksound V4 for the two ABC motor bogies and fan drive... with all lighting drive from a separate Lokpilot V4 Fx decoder (so as to minimise the current draw on the Loksound (1amp for the motors under load plus .1ma for the fan motor).
