Well, it`s been well over a year since I switched on the power for Sarsden .... I was really pleased that everything worked perfectly with no wiring problems at all.
Looking over the Engine Shed area I really missed the badly warped stone built version I had put away.
So, over the past week I`ve been rescuing the badly warped resin shed by completely rebuilding the roof and straightening the shed walls.
It`s been a `belt and braces` job this time as one of the problems had been that the original roof had been made to be removable and du to heat had changed into a boat shape.
The new roof is permanent and the framing is over scale Shellac coated wood.
................ and then overlays of 2mm plasticard....
I`ve re-fashioned the roof vent into a more solid structure and this evening I scored all the roof tile markers ready for some Yorkmodelrail roof tiles.
Paint shop over the weekend and then finished by the end of the coming Bank Holiday
