Thanks Nick, and I won't forget the safety bars, especially now that you have reminded me!

Meanwhile, back on D6315, I have been cobbling together representations of what I think the light casing assemblies that sit behind the discs should look like. I have gone nearly cross eyed squinting at all the photographs to try and see what is going on behind the discs...

Brake van has a complete complement of handrails, work started on their "forged ends".

D6315 has had more work done to both of its front ends, current state of play below.

Nice work, Simon. in both instances. I like how you've portrayed the handrail fixing on the van. A neat idea. Thankfully, the same thing in 4mm scale is nigh-on invisible, so not getting represented (that's my excuse... )
