Western Thunderer
Hi chaps
Whilst browsing in WH Smith at Paddington, I saw an advert in a magazine for this place....
http://www.rail-online.co.uk
I don't know if there's a link to this site already on WT (apologies if so), but unlike "Transport Treasury", you can actually view the pictures you might want to buy, rather than relying on a sentence trying to describe the content of a picture.
I've just been having a look around and there are some cracking shots for both steam and diesel fans. As an example, I typed "Reading" into the search box and was rewarded with plenty of shots from this once great station, including a couple of very tasty night shots of Westerns!
Interestingly, although both had their head-code blinds illuminated, one had an illuminated white marker light, whilst the other one didn't.
Regards
Dan
