I first saw Vine Street at the ALSRM bash at Reading about 4 years ago. I was totally sold on DCC + sound as a result and found the whole layout quite an inspiration. Even the short platforms and very short trains still seem to be perfectly acceptable and have convinced me that a fulfilling 0 gauge layout can be created in a very modest space.
