I vaguely remember these kits when they first came out. Are you going to be glueing or soldering the WM?

HI..

I did a bit of work of work on my 2-4-0 Metro chassis. I put it on my roller road and test it and IT worked. A little bit tight but a good run and it should be running nice.

Well have been runing for 2 hours and I can put the chassis less motor and it move so smooth.
Now I have to spend the next few hours cleaning all the white metal stuff.. Heaps of flash, lucky I have a new set of files.

OK, Post more later. I'm off to look at real tracks.
Thanks

Looks to be very neat work, especially soldering whitemetal..!!

Any info about the loco Class... y'know; dates & timescale it's from, what it was used for etc, and how (or if!) it fits in with whatever else you're modelling?
Beyond the title of "Metro Tank" I don't really know what I'm looking at? (but now I know how some must feel looking at my Soo Line stuff!!! )

Built late Victorian era, last ones scrapped post wwII, called metros because they were used on London services traversing the underground. They could be found in aat most corners of the GWR at one time or another.
