Whilst many of us are waiting in eager anticipation for our Dapol Class 122 DMUs (and/or whatever else is impounded on a large container ship, down Egypt way), to arrive, I thought I’d share this YouTube video I’ve just stumbled across....

Knowing very little about the Suez Canal, or the dynamics of large ships in water, I found it quite fascinating!

Ever Given – What Happens Now?

A bit of research revealed that it normally costs around $250k per passage, depending upon the size of the vessel and what it's carrying.
