One is back from ones continental blast.

A bit too early to report any progress on Bleat but I thought a photo or two of previous efforts would be in order for now.

Here are a few of Sheep Lane focusing on wagons. These are all RTR and have been weathered .

Firstly, thank you all for your visits and subsequent 'likes' and comments. Very kind of you.

As alluded to here and there, another project is gathering a bit of momentum.

This will be very much out of my comfort zone and will {I hope!!} be based on the Culm Valley Light Railway, specifically, Culmstock.

It will yet another 'Cameoesque ' layout utilising Swedens finest baseboards with the scenic section being 120cm x 40cm featuring a diminutive through station on the Lamb Valley Light Railway.

Baacombe is very basic with a couple of sidings off a loop with simple facilities of a cattle dock and a coal siding.

The timescall for the layout will be roughly 1944/1946 so scope for a bit of military modelling here and there....ish

Progress will be subject to progress on Bleat Wharf but I will update as and when I can.

Here is the first building, a platform mounted goods shed courtesy of Bachmann. This will be weathered and tweaked in due course.

Evening all..

Well, still no modelling. Straight back into work after hols and a bit pooped so no appetite for modelling in the evening at present.

However, plenty of research being done in relation to Baacombe and a plan is coming together.

Baacombe has jumped over Lamb Regis which was the next layout planned in order to compliment Mutton.

In the interim, here are a couple of photos of tonights running session with a 700 on a short goods.

Hi Jonte.

Alas I can take no credit for the finish. It carries a Bachmann factory weathering job which is one of the best RTR weathering jobs I have seen. All I did was add etched number plates from Mr Finney.

When I get around to it, I intend adding a few touches to it but for now it is fine.
