Keef, we have two. One in Oct and the small one in Jan.
That’s more bovine than ovine! Nice to see an ‘Eastleigh’ Maunsell Arthur. Knowing zilch about 4mm, whose model is it?

Thanks all.
It's from our dear friends at Hornby, Paul.
I think their rendition of the King Arthur is one of their finest offerings to date and probably my favourite loco. In fact all their ex L&SWR models are exceptional and they make it very easy for a Welshman with a penchant for things South Western to indulge himself.
This particular example is the only one to date with the watercart tender and it's off to pastures new once I have finished the weathering. My current interests revolve around smaller layouts and I have no need for such a large engine. It's wasted sat in a box so I have offered it to a chum with a large main line layout.

Very nice sheen you've achieved in the paintwork. Just the sort of thing Mr Sweet should have on his layout.

Hear, hear!
And that final shot has overtones of ‘Hursley’ by Mr. Welch.
Looks good - what tools do you use for the carving? I tried using some short lengths of guitar wire in a pin vice on some depron foam but I found it difficult to make the lines I wanted to.Further carving of DAS this evening, of which I attach a few images.
