Tees Yard 27.1.14

While i was in the area of Tees yard, I thought i'd take a look. There's always a few class 66's knocking about, & the two snowploughs ( looking ex works !) are ready & waiting for the white stuff. I got to the road next to the mainline, to take my tacho break & saw these....

Now that is highly unusual to see a withdrawn Gronks with connecting rods still attached. its a pity the garden shed isn't in the same state and the 08's still running round, I wonder in 40 years time if the 66 will be in such good shape or will the amount of plastic used in its construction cause it to rot away from the inside.

Someone didn't finish their MMP kits....

Too true, the owners tried to sell the kits on e-bay without telling prospective bidders that replacements for the resin hood top would not be available.
