The story of the railway is worth a look.
The loco is, sadly, a diesel hydraulic, dressed in the “skin” of the 0-3-0. I was interested to note that the locos originally had a booster on the tender.
It’s not completely daft, of course, the intent was to develop a railway system that could be used in the desert.
