Dare I say something very political here, surely the DVD is better than paying for a TV licence.
I have a copy of the Small Back Room purely for the 5 minutes of a train arriving/departing Abbottsbury Station.
By the way Brief Encounter was on the other day too.
Lovely old films.

Some years prior to filming 'Railway Children', my wife and I watched the filming another costume drama called 'Country Matters' using the same Gresley coach and the 6-wheel GCR coach. When filming stopped we were invited aboard the train back to Oxenhope. So wifey and kids travelled in the GCR coach taking photos while I followed by car. That's around 52 years ago.

It was in HD. I have the film on blue-ray, it's worth watching in HD to see all the activity going on off-shot.
