7mm well 6.35mm (1/4") - American dabblings v2

Just to start the dabblings off again, I'm going to be trying Peartree 3'1" screw-on British diesel wheels which scale out very close to N American 40" on an MTH AS-616 (3-rail conversion), they have the same 3/16" axles. Desired paint job may be more difficult - SMS Lines - the Reading green may be straightforward, but I should see if MGDecals can do an O-scale decal set. Microscale do the Reading yellow lettering on black diamond, but they may not pay much attention to a British O-scaler....

I'll be interested to see how you get on with the wheelsets. I have started messing about with P48 (thread here p p p P48 for Cotton Belt) and use Northwest Shortline and Protocraft wheels.

I would try Highball Graphics as they tend to concentrate on decals for the northern roads https://highballgraphics.com/homepage.htm

I've obtained my Cotton Belt O scale decals from these guys and have to do mix and matching:
Allegheny have a fair number of decals which are no longer produced http://alleghenyscale.com/
Protocraft decals are primarily steam era Protocraft
