A successful day yesterday, the sun certainly brought the people out. Some photos of what was to be seen
May 1953 and a Bournemouth to Waterloo train diverted due to engineering works!
possibly the star of the show, brought in by a visitor from Keighley, a 9f and full rake of Summers hoppers - back on home ground.
progression through the station, being overtaken by an ECML diversion
and meeting some 'super power' on the curve.

thanks for the invite Mike and glad people liked the unique scene of The Wirral as I remember it as a small person. Excellent layout with very good trackwork gave everything a smooth run
