Western Thunderer
Hello,
Simon Castens put me onto your website when Steve Harrod and I visited him at his G1 garden
railway yesterday.
My interests are all things Diesel Hydraulic and Western Region. I got back into modelling when the
Fredd Phipps 1/32nd scale D6300 kit came out. D6333 took 8 years, on and off, to build and paint. During
that time I have added some 1/32nd Warships and a few 1/32nd wagons - aquiring the kits is the easy part,
building them is painfully slow, for me at least. And as for painting, unfortunately weathering is not
my strong point and I am very apprehensive about trying it.
Nice to see a website devoted to the Western Region and I'm looking forward to seeing other peoples
work and creations.
