Arrgghhhh!
Slipped gracefully onto my conservatory floor two nights ago - I was so upset that it stayed there until tonight when I finally had courage to pick it up! I can't quite believe this is the only real damage done - I think that removing the roof and windows back to the bulkhead, I may be able to fit a new upper section and bingo, we're back in business........ The lighting, fans and decoders are all still in situ and working ok!
I think you will find the cab windows very weak especially the pillars I tried a similar fix and in the end binned the casting.Slipped gracefully onto my conservatory floor two nights ago - I was so upset that it stayed there until tonight when I finally had courage to pick it up! Was that with the windows in situ, Cynric?I think you will find the cab windows very weak especially the pillars I tried a similar fix and in the end binned the casting.
Bloody hell Boris, just caught up with this report. That is bad news. I feel like crying for you.Arrgghhhh!
Yes, still not strong enough, and it I very hard to get an invisible join in the pillar. It's just easier and stronger to chuck a new cab on.Was that with the windows in situ, Cynric?
