Today in Crymlyn A Shop the Boyos have been working overtime.
Rhys ap Rhys the solder and Owen the Spanner have been hard at work fitting the newly delivered cylinders to the Peckett contract locomotive.
The Zeiss optical alignment equipment has been used to set the slide bars in the support brackets.
Careful use of brass blacking solution around the slide bars has limited the spread of solder which will make tomorrow morning's job of cleaning up easier for Percy Veerance and Baldrick the A Shop Gofor.
We hope the foreman will be pleased but this is unlikely on a Monday morning.
Hopefully Monday morning will also see the delivery of the cab side sheets from the Minerva Engineering company.
