Railtrack - the operators of a very large train set - have been making repairs to decaying scenery south of Norwich on the Ipswich line. This is quite an old layout, and much of the scenery is getting on in years. Whilst it has generally lasted well under constant exhibition use, some parts have been damaged in recent years by an infestation of pests of the hole boring variety

I spoke to one of the operators today - he said they were having to use an expensive high-tech geotextile due to the difficulty of obtaining sufficient cereal packets, plaster bandage and egg boxes.

He further advised that next week they were moving in a giant static grass applicator, and they expected significant interruption to mobile phone, TV and radio transmissions in the vicinity during the period the applicator will be in use.

Getting ready to turn it in to a canal, and speed up the transport system in that part of the country?

Man in orange jacket saying to the man in the yellow jacket, "your Ok sea level is only 10' below you, we'll get you down as soon as we can get the mountain rescue helicopter here" For now just use this air line so you don't pass out.

We seem to have suffered quite a few landslips recently with the 'winter' we have just had!! NR are also still sorting out a slip at Brantham near Manningtree, it is right under a footbridge and the footbridge foundations have been exposed by the slip!!
