Were you spotting, Rob...?

I liked Severn Magna too, they'd paid a lot of attention to the track - don't think I've ever seen so many catch points on one layout before...

You actually saw something MOVING on Aston Road...?!?!?

Two years I've seen that layout, and apart from the fact I couldn't see much progress from last year, both times it's been utterly bereft off any movement whatsoever... :headbang: :shit:

Great phots Phill.I think that every time I see Aston Rd I find more to enjoy. This time the demolished house and lovely classic commercials Bedford, and I was allowed around ' the back' to see the rear of the buildings and there was an exquiste etched spiral staircase.

A very nice Box there Phill; looks like it'll be just the right sort of size to suit your terminus, too

Having looked at the website it's from, I don't suppose you've bothered to work out how much your canopy would cost using their components, have you..?!? :p

... no, I thought not...

Yes I did make enquires & calculations with them & many other suppliers, I was more after the canopy valance than anything though, as the rest can be scratchbuilt by us non -millionaires & the good news is I managed to get 12 feet of laser cut wooden GWR valance which will be southernized for my needs

Well, fair play, Phill - I stand corrected !!

Now, dare I display yet more ignorance, and ask what the difference is between Southern & GWR valences...???

Hi Phill,

you beat me to that last pack, but then I found proper Southern ones on the Kirtley Models stand, only 5x300 pieces in a pack, but they do look the business. might be tempted to get some of his LBSCR etched doors etc.
