Having missed Telford altogether last year, I was Last of the Big Spenders this year - 4 lengths of Code124FB rail, which should be enough now to finish off all my trackwork on my loft layout
Could've spent a lot more, of course, although there was precious little North American stuff around, & I had Boy Little Big Mouth in reluctant tow - who as I explained to some of you I met, has only recently declared that "trains are boring". I wouldn't have minded too much but he was stood next to D1015 at Bridgnorth last weekend when he said it!!!
Kids, eh??
At least his mate who came with us is still into trains at 16 - live steam at that - so at least he enjoyed the Show!
The Aussie layout was best in show for me, & for Doubting Thomas's like Jerry Queensquare*, there was quite a lot of superb scenery on view, on almost all of the layouts
although I admit there was none on the S7 Test Track, but then I suspect a clue as to why is in the words 'Test Track'
