    When the original article on Jim Savage's extensive 'Tonevale' appeared in MRJ No. 69, it made quite an impact. We are keen to feature subsequent developments as work on the huge layout progressed, but sadly Jim died in 1998. We are fortunate in being able to publish this follow-up article form Jim's own notes discovered by Dave Gatland, who also pays tribute to him.
