Laser cutting for wagon construction

The use of a laser cutter in architectural modelling has enabled fine and accurate detail to be created from a 2D CAD drawing, but here James Aitken applies the same approach to building wagons. Also with the declining cost of 3D printers he has found that he can now produce his own parts like axleboxes, and is consequently now free to model any prototype regardless of kit availability.
