I've a small list too, just not very cheap LOL.I'll be there. Might be a bit tight on the 1pm meet (dropping SWMBO off at relatives first) but looking forward to it.

Back ok! Had a good show and it was great to catch up with the WT'ers and meet a few new faces too. I didn't spend too much and I got most items on my list and not too many impulse purchases either.

'All' the moths escaped today, just totted it all up, amazing what you can spend via cash, cheque and a credit card LOL, looks like I'm cycling to work the next few months LOL. Though this time it's lots of little pieces here and there.

Fabulous to meet some WT'rs in person! Good to be part of such a friendly community.
I found the small layouts captivating and they ably demonstrated that it is possible to create plenty of operational interest in a tiny space!
Bumped into lots of people I haven't seen for ages too and I didn't blow too much money. (I did buy a couple of Model Express kits. ...On opening the boxes for a quick glance... They certainly look like a bit of a challenge!

We enjoyed the massed muster of the BLUE brigade, including a kettle lover (shh we won't tell Tricky)wearing the hallowed colour with pride, We got most of what we wanted and a little bit more on the way home ooh er misses, well 2 class 25's actually and then spent a brillo drive home singing along to the 80's ( the decade not the classes or the old buffers age ) on the I player.
Even the Sarge had a happy day Bolton WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, bloody miracles will never cease. He even overlooked Lcp Lancers malingering .

Unknown class 40, looks like brass from the windscreen thickness, if so first one I've ever seen with correctly formed roof and cant rail radius, top job
Phil's new project, gotta agree on this, a must have for the small mid 70's - mid 80's layout, we discussed this as a feature to expose rather than hide on a layout, fully interlocking too and the idea is to have the whole lot, lever to signal/ point, fully mechanical and prototypical.
Phil, further pondering since the car ride home, maybe a sound chip activated somewhere so that when the levers are pulled you get that mechanical signal box lever ker chunk sound or the signal wire wheels squeak, Colne valley have a signal box where you can pull and record the lever sound. Little secret 'shhsss' I just go in there and bang the levers around to make that sound! The other sound required is the ground lever wooden thunk clunk when they are changed and the levers spring back.
Nice model, origin unknown, typical GWR, crack express loco and cab an afterthought, from an era when men were men! And bloody cold to boot.
Super Jubilee model, I'd be happy with mine to get just 10% as good as this, especially like the constant radius on tender side top
Golden Age A4, very nice model, but! Big but when he wound it up on the rolling road the wheels were off centre and it wobbled like a Ducks proverbial I'd expect better quality for a £2500+ locomotive.
Excellent inside valve gear on a Princess, again if I get even 10% close to this on mine I'll be a happy bunny.
Close up of Princess Royal inside valve gear, shame almost all of it will be hidden by the boiler.
Nice JLTRT weathered class 27, not my zone but do have a soft spot for BRCW type 2 and 3's.
Nice West Country model, well made and painted with subtle weathering.
Nice Patriot model.
Some nice tank engine models, again, typical GWR after though cab arrangements LOL.
