S7 wheels for a G W Siphons

Slater's Plastikard offers GWR Mansell discs for the 6-wheel and early bogie siphons. Otherwise, I think that the standard S7 coach wheel is acceptable... might drill four holes into the disc though.

As an update, I purchased an Invetrain 9' bogie for my siphon which I think was the wrong one. I notice that ABS models does a 7' bogie are they any good and has any-body built them?

The ABS/Cavalier bogies are great in my opinion. What's wrong with the 9' bogie you bought?

The GWR had four or five or so types of bogie with 9' 0" wb., a look at GW Siphons (Slinn, HMRS) is a good idea because:-

a) the diagram details include descriptions of what bogie types were fitted originally;
b) details of bogie changes where known;
c) drawings and photographs of many of the bogie types relevant to Siphons.

Hi Steph, "What's wrong with the 9' bogie you bought?"
I was not happy with it as the Siphon is a Dia 0.22 which changed to a 7' bogie later on.
Hi Graham, I have the Slinn book but got the wrong bogie as I didn't know any-body did an etched version until I went to the last ExpoEM :(.
