Man, all this DMU nostalgia is nauseating!!!

Can't say as I have any rose-tinted memories of them, although I did commute on the Cross-City Line into Brum for a while (a short-lived job before I got to be a Lorryist) on them. They were as dead boring as buses.....
I note they're as useful in Preservation as they were in BR service, for the same reason - cheaper to run than Steam! Are any preserved in Blue, though? All the ones I've seen are in green. I always thought they looked smartest in Blue/Grey like coaches, and the White/Blue stripe PTE livery was also good - when it was clean!! (i.e. for about two days ex-works!!)
